INIVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS

 

1.0    INTRODUCTION

 

The Federal University Wukari wishes to execute projects funded under 2016 Federal Government of Nigeria Approved Capital Appropriation. Interested and reputable Contractors are here by invited to submit Tenders for the purpose of Pre-qualification.

 

2.0    SCOPE OF WORK

 

2.1 Construction of Central Laboratory Building

 

3.0       PRE-QUALIFICATION CRITERIA

           

Interested Contractors are invited to submit comprehensive Technical documents; viz

           

i           Evidence of incorporation and registration of company with Corporate Affairs Commission.

 

ii          Current Tax clearance certificate for the preceding three (3) years 2014,2015 and 2016

 

iii        Evidence of current PENCOM Certificate of Compliance.

iv         Evidence of compliance with the provision of section 6(1) (/3) of the amended Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act no.19 of 2011.

v          Current NSITF Clearance Certificate, in compliance with Employees compensation ACT 2010 (ECA 2010)

vi         Company Audited Account for the Preceding three (3) years. 2014, 2015 and 2016. (Note: The Turnover in the audited account must match the Turnover declared in the Tax Clearance Certificate).

 

 

vii        Evidence of registration on the Bureau of Public Procurement Data Base of Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by inclusion of Interim Registration Report (IRR).

viii      Company Profile with Names and qualification of key Technical personnel to be used (photocopy of C.V, Professional Membership Certificate such as ARCON, COREN-Civil/ Structure, Electrical, Mechanical, CORBON Certified).

ix         Evidence of Financial Capability and reference letter from reputable Bank (including demonstration of having liquidity and /or evidence of access to or availability of confirmed credit facilities of not less than N25,000,000.00.00

x          Verifiable evidence of the completion of similar projects in the past, Name of the Clients, location of the projects, Contract Sums and Letter of Engagement. (1-5 Jobs, 6-10 Jobs, 11 Jobs and above)

xi         Experience in executing similar work of the same magnitude (0-5 years, 6-10 years, 11 years and above).

xii        Adequate of experience of key personnel for the assignment:  Architect (5-10 years, 10-15 years), Civil Engineer (5-10 years, 10-15 years) Mechanical Engineer (5-10 years, 10-15 years) Builder (5-10 years, 10-15 years) Electrical Engineer (5-10 years, 10-15 years) 

 xiii     Every Submission must be accompanied with an affidavit that all information and documents submitted are true and correct and that no officer of the University is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the Bidder.

xiv       Evidence of availability of necessary equipment and their functionality.

xv        Evidence of Payment of Processing fee of Twenty Thousand Naira Only (N20,000.00) in bank draft, in favor of “Federal University Wukari” and;

xvi       any other necessary information that may be required for the successful execution of the project.

xvii      Note: all document listed above must be arranged in order of listing in this advertisement.

            

4.0       SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION

             

            Tenderers should submit Two (2) copies of their technical documents in a sealed             envelope and marked at the top-right hand corner of the envelope.

Bidders must register their bids in the Bid Submission Register and collect Bid Submission Receipts. Bid Documents shall be dropped in the Tender Box, at Administrative Building of the Federal University Wukari, Taraba State. 

 

5.         SUBMISSION CLOSING DATE AND TIME

 

The submission of this Tender will close by (Time and Date) 

 

6.         OPENING DATE AND TIME

 

Tenders shall be opened publicly on same day (Time and Date) at Large Lecture Hall, Multipurpose building, Federal University Wukari, in presence of all interested bidders or their representatives, representative of Civil Society Organization and member of the general Public.

a.               Only company whose technical bids fulfil the minimum requirements shall be notified to collect financial bid documents.

8.       VERIFICATION OF CLAIMS:

 

Please note that Federal University Wukari reserves the right to verify claims made in the Pre-qualification documents submitted by interested Contractors.

    selection process at any time without incurring any liabilities and assigning any reason
